Tom  Owens - Tom has been a massage therapist for over thirty years. He is the innovator of a comprehensive positioning system that was in development for over three years and produced seven different major prototypes before becoming the tool in 1986 that we know today as the bodyCushion. He has been a massage educator for more than twenty-five years and in that time developed a body of work surrounding the use of this tool including the development of a series that was collected, filmed and published in 1993 as, "New Approaches to Muscle Therapy".  Although Tom is semi-retired he is still passioate about educating therapists about positioning and the role positioning can play in improving therapeutic applications and outcomes.
